Car Workshop Repair

This module extends Repair for car workshops with vehicle records, reception workflow, and document signature management (digital and manual).

1. Main Purpose

• Manage customer vehicles linked to repair orders.
• Allow free contact selection and free vehicle selection in repair intake.
• Handle required workshop documents to sign from QWeb reports.
• Support digital signature and manual signature with traceability.

3. Vehicle Registration

1. Go to Workshop / Vehicles.
2. Create a new record.
3. Set at least one unique identifier:
   • License Plate or
   • VIN
4. Fill customer and optional technical details.
5. Save.

4. Repair Intake Workflow

1. Create a repair order from Workshop / Repairs.
2. Select any contact (free selection).
3. Select any vehicle (free selection).
4. If contact differs from vehicle owner, a warning appears (non-blocking).
5. Fill workshop intake fields (entry mileage, fuel level, condition, symptom, etc.).

5. Documents to Sign

In the Documents & Signatures tab of the repair order:

• Documents to Sign lets you select QWeb reports for signature workflow.
• Default required document is Workshop Reception Order (custom report in this module).
• Click Prepare Signature Documents to generate signature lines.

6. Signature Line Fields

• Signer Name (required for digital/manual flows).
• Signer ID Number (required for digital/manual flows).
• Signed On (filled when signature is confirmed).
• State: Pending Signature / Signed Digitally / Signed Manually.

7. Digital Signature Flow

1. Fill Signer Name and Signer ID Number in the signature line.
2. Click Sign Digital.
3. Review wizard opens with full document preview (QWeb rendered in wizard).
4. User must accept in wizard and continue.
5. Signature pad wizard opens.
6. Draw signature and confirm.

Result: state becomes Signed Digitally, signature date is stored, and a signed PDF is generated.

8. Manual Signature Flow

1. Fill Signer Name and Signer ID Number in the signature line.
2. Click Print (requires signer fields and acceptance-ready data).
3. Print and sign externally.
4. Click Sign Manual.
5. Manual confirmation wizard opens.
6. Set acceptance and upload file in Manual Signed File (binary upload field).
7. Confirm manual signature.

Result: state becomes Signed Manually, signature date is stored, and the uploaded signed file is attached to the repair order.

9. Print Button Behavior

• If state is Pending Signature, Print generates the working document draft.
• If state is Signed Digitally or Signed Manually, Print opens the signed file already stored.

10. Signed Evidence and Traceability

• Signed document files are stored and linked.
• Attachments are also posted to the repair order chatter.
• Signature metadata includes signer name, signer ID number, state, and signed date.

11. Reception Order Report

The module includes a custom QWeb report: Workshop Reception Order / Deposit Receipt. It contains workshop identity, customer/contact data, vehicle intake data, reception notes, and signature section.
